Relief Food Service Assistant

Hours:

Part Time 15 hours per week (Monday - Friday 11.30am - 2.30pm) 38 weeks per year (term time), plus there may be a requirement to work an occasional PD Day

We are looking for a professional, friendly and enthusiastic Food Service Assistant to join our school-based catering teams across our Mid Suffolk schools.  Under the guidance of the Head of Kitchen, you will assist with the preparation, cooking and serving of meals.

You will have:

  • Experience of food preparation and/or kitchen support role
  • A customer-focused approach
  • An ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative
  • An ability to prioritise work, and flexibility to deal with unexpected and varied requests

This post is predominantly based at Cedars Park and Stowupland but could also be at Bacton Primary School or Mendlesham Primary School.  Therefore, the ability to travel to Trust sites is essential.

Applications for individual days (3 hours per day) are also welcome.   There may also be the opportunity to work additional hours.
